This Privacy Policy explains how GA Sentry ("GA Sentry", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and service at gasentry.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

GA Sentry connects to your analytics accounts (with your permission) to automatically detect anomalies in traffic, SEO, e-commerce conversion, and security signals, and to generate periodic reports.

1. Information We Collect

2. Google User Data & Limited Use

GA Sentry requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

openid, email, profile — to sign you in and identify your account;
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly — read-only access to your Google Analytics data;
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly — read-only access to your Search Console data.

We request only read-only access and never modify your Google data.

GA Sentry's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used solely to provide and improve the anomaly-detection and reporting features you request; it is not sold, and it is not used for advertising.

3. How We Use Information

To detect anomalies and generate the weekly/monthly reports you request;
To authenticate you and operate, secure, and support the Service;
To process subscriptions and billing;
To understand product usage and improve the Service.

4. AI Processing of Report Data

Anomaly detection is performed by our own code. To turn the detected results into a readable narrative report, GA Sentry sends aggregated, derived metric summaries (not raw personal records) to third-party AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic). These providers process the data solely to generate the report text and do not use it to train their models under the applicable API terms.

6. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Sensitive credentials — your Google refresh token and any Cloudflare API token — are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You can:

Delete a connected site at any time, which removes its stored metrics and reports;
Revoke GA Sentry's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions;
Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Section 11).

8. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. If enabled by the operator, we also use Google Analytics cookies to measure product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
